Buy it. Your children will have prime real estate after global warming ruins most everything under it. That’s thinking ahead.

I would definitely dig for some treasure there. The History Channel has taught me that all Canadian islands contain treasure.

I looked it up on Google and it is called a “Canadian Arctic Archipelago.”
All I could think about is what a nightmare starting scenario that would be in Civilization V.

The Canadian Arctic archipelago is actually all the islands off the North Coast of Canada in the arctic sea, most of them in Nunavut. The island is nameless.

I should clarify: that’s what they called that area when I looked up Victoria Island; my initial comment is unclear in that regard. I think if they had to name each individual island... well, as you pointed out, there’s a lot of islands.
In any case, I still stand by the fact that I would never want to start here in Civ V.

But the Copper Island is larger than Isle Royale. Granted, it isn’t a natural island, but it is an island.
